Yu, Lei is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business Administration (SBA) within the Hitotsubashi University Business School (HUB).
He specializes in Management Science, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship, IPO performance, organizational theory, and institution-building behavior in emerging economies.
Before entering academia, he served as the Chief Project Manager in the Financial System Development Division and as a Recruiter in the Human Resource Department at Daiwa Institute of Research Holdings Ltd., part of the Daiwa Securities Group Inc.
He holds a Master of Commerce and Management from the Graduate School of Commerce and Management at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Literature in Japanese from Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing, China, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Hokuriku University, Kanazawa, Japan.
